Long ago, P&S Credit Union was chartered when a couple of Union members decided they could pool their resources together to help each other accomplish their goals. One member could earn interest on their savings while another member borrows funds to buy a car. Fast forward 60+ years and we're still doing the same today! And we're every bit as dedicated to helping our Union members with their savings and loans.

How does the Union Member Vacation Account work?

Union Member Vacation Accounts are simple, easy and set up specifically for our UA Local 140 members. Select employers make monthly deposits into your account for vacation pay, and in turn, members make withdrawals at their own convenience. Dividends are paid quarterly on the average daily balance and best of all, members can use these funds to participate in our Automatic Dues Deduction service.

Why does my pay stub not match what’s in my Union Member Vacation Account?

Every month end, employers calculate and process the amount of funds to send on behalf of their employees to P&S Credit Union. By the 20th of the following month, funds are sent by various employers for P&S Credit Union to process. P&S Credit Union begins posting these funds to participant’s accounts immediately. But as a result, the amount in your Union Member Vacation Account will be slightly behind.

• Automatic Dues Deduction – P&S Credit Union will pay your Union dues, on your behalf, automatically through your Union Member Vacation Account. (This is a separate service that requires direct enrollment and authorization.)
• Automatic Payments or Withdrawal – Have a set amount, or the full amount of your vacation deposit, automatically transferred to another account or make payments on an existing loan.
• Order an ATM Card – Access any of your P&S Credit Union accounts at ATMs nationwide.
• CO-OP Shared Branching – Access any of your P&S Credit Union accounts through the CO-OP Shared Branching network, just as if you were in our own lobby.
